But just because the throwback aesthetic is trending doesn’t mean it has to be cheesy or stuck in the past. Take the garments from Noon Cottage Industry, an Instagram brand specializing in hand-dyed mesh tops. Most of the prints are full paintings, depicting graphic scenes on a hazy mesh canvas cut into tops and dresses.
